Busy autumn, solo show in Horten in August. FFF, the Norwegian Art Photographers Association had their 50th anniversary exhibition and an anniversary book - it was fun to participate in both and then OsloNegativ where I showed silver gelatin work with my darkroom. Oslo Negativ is a group exhibition where galleries and work collectives show their work by members.

Life is sometimes crazy good. I have been shortlisted to The Royal Academy’s Summer Exhibition in London, given a grant by Foundation Fritt Ord, exhibiting on Day of Photography Covid Edition at the national museum for photography - Preus Museum in Horten and there will be two solo shows - One at a great gallery in Oslo and one in Tønsberg. I am thrilled to announce the new solo show of my project about Tønsberg Arbeiderforening (Tønsberg Worker’s Association) in November 2021 at Vestfolds main library. It will be accompanied by several events; artist talk, a lecture, an opening, and a possible book launch. I will keep you posted.
Yesterday I got the greatest news, my first big grant here in Norway - Norske Fagfotografers Fond are supporting my show - which is moved to the fall of 2021 due to Covid-19 - by the way.
Also The Center for Bookarts in NYC has accepted my litte book / zine No One into their collection.

My new series is being made - The Poetics of Flux - BW darkroom installation shots - I love making it.
It is my story about being thrown around and loosing everything I counted on. The first eight are ready, but the installation shots need a little more work - small preview here though.
My first little book, small, not so cute, hand-sewn with Irish linen thread is still available and will be presented together with No One on Forbundet Frie Fotografer’s presentation during Oslo Photobook Festival on September 18th 2020. When in the US, I was asked to come to South Dakota to make pictures for BalletNext. It was one of my highlights in life - everybody was intent on having fun, work hard and just put on a wonderful performance. Thank you Michele Wiles and the dancers from ABT and South Dakota. I was so privileged to be your photographer.

The book is all my photographs accompanied by a haiku-like text.
My new little book/zine - No One - just came back from the printer’s.
One Hundred copies has been made and seven APs going to The Norwegian National Library mostly, all are signed and numbered. The size is A4, paper recycled and the story… I am not sure what it is about. You will have to see for yourself, but there will be words of wisdom from a knowledable, little guineapig in it and musings about that mystery called love.
It is available quite soon at the museum shop at Hå Gamle Prestegård, and so is The Knitted Condom, my former opus. Right now Tronsmo Bokhandel, Oslo’s equivalent to NYC’s Printed Matter, wants to look at it, The Knitted Condom is in commission there already:) - and it is of course available directly from me. It will also be presented during Oslo Photo Art Book festival in September in the presentation done by FFF - Forbundet Frie Fotografer - The Norwegian Association of Art Photographers. I will come back with more information.
